July 2017

All the makings for what they call enchiladas,
but they look more like tostadas.  They heard Kimo
was leaving so they made a nice meal for Kimo
 and Elder Escobar.

Machete!

Elder Escobar on the roof checking the water tank.

They were asked to cut the grass on the side of their house.

Perfect time to use your machete!

Tom has been asking Kimo about his machete for a while!

Going to See Elder Renlund

The highlight this week was the visit from President Renlund (Apostle).  Yeah, that was way cool!  We all got to shake his hand before he spoke and another authority was there as well, there was a really nice spirit there and the choir of missionaries that sang were really good.  He talked a lot about how we need to get the atonement of Jesus Christ more in our lessons so that it could help the people. He also talked about Faith.  It was really cool and I was able to see some missionaries from the Tegucigalpa mission that I knew in the CCM.

Fishing

We went fishing for the Last P Day, a guy named Joel took us and two other missionaries to his property that had a pond with fish, I was able to catch two.  The bait was weird though, it was tortilla masa with fish flakes in it! I was skeptical at first, but the fish bought it.
